In a perfect world we wouldn’t need an OS &D Claims department but, unfortunately, accidents do happen and occasionally we experience freight loss or damage. Our goal is to minimize any loss or damage of your product while it’s in our care, custody, and control, by adhering to strict preventative procedures under our proactive claims prevention program.

We train and educate our drivers and dockworkers in claim prevention. They in turn relay useful information they may have regarding our customers’ shipments, such as recommending necessary changes in packaging or loading procedures that may avoid damages. With processes like this in place, our claim ratio is among the lowest in the industry at .2%.
